LESBOS. Uncertain mint. Circa 480-400 BC. 1/3 Stater (Billon, 14 mm, 3.71 g, 9 h). Head of an Amazon (?) to left, wearing tight-fitting cap. Rev. Head of a lion to left within incuse square. BMC 58. CNG E-Auction 245 (2010), 132. HGC 6, 1093. Extremely rare. Minor mark on the obverse and with some porosity on the reverse, otherwise, fine.
